Based in South East London Quaid has been carving his own path on the underground music scene for over a decade. Most notable for his two celebrated LPs on Steven Julien’s iconic Apron Records and associations with LA’s resurgent electronic music scene via Damar Davis’ Salon Recordings. Quaid’s music, like the labels he releases on, is a sound that is very much of the now - drawing on the past to create a language of its own; Techno, R&B, Hip Hop, 80’s Funk, Vaporwave, Jazz Fusion are all identifiable yet at the same time shaped into vibrant new expressions.
