Released as a 45 in October 2018, both tracks were originally recorded in Los Angeles in the late 1970s for Ray Charles’s Crossover Records. Unissued for decades, they first appeared on Kent’s 2012 *Crossover Soul: 1975-79 LA Sessions* CD before demand from Northern and Modern Soul scenes led to their first individual vinyl pressing.
